April Home Sales Set Records on 30A

Home Sales on 30A have set new records for April according to the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors with 69 sales and $81,277,402 in dollar volume sold. Our second best April on record was in 2013 with $62 million in closed sales. Only two months last year out-performed April 2015 sales, neither of which are typical for our area. In Sept 2014, there were $82 million reported home sales on 30A and in December 2014, $87.8 million sold.

If you hear Realtors talking about how busy they are, it’s true. April 2015 was not only the best April on record for 30A sales, but it is also the fourth best month ever on record. The month with the most sales on record is August 2004 with $91.3 million in closed sales. If this is a sign of what’s to come, it should be a busy year in real estate.
