Fly Non-stop to the Beach (VPS) From Washington National (DCA) Starting Mar 25, 2012

Starting March 25, 2012, you will have another way to get from the beach to Washington D.C. area. Southwest Airlines currently has a direct non-stop flight to Baltimore Washington International (BWI) from Panama City Beach, FL (ECP). Anyone traveling to and from D.C. knows that BWI is a bit of a drive out of the city. US Airways has added a non-stop direct flight from Ft Walton Beach, FL (VPS) to Washington (Reagan) National (DCA), with flights starting March 25, 2012. In addition to the daily non-stop flight to Ft Walton Beach, US Airways will also be adding non-stop daily flights from Reagan National to Birmingham, Ala.; Fayetteville, N.C.; Islip, N.Y.; Little Rock, Ark.; Jacksonville, N.C.; Pensacola, Fla.; and Tallahassee, Fla.
