What do Houston, Nashville, Baltimore and Orlando have in common?
Airports which will allow you to board a Southwest Airlines flight to the soon-to-be-completed North West Florida Beaches Airport (ECP) located on the north side of Panama City Beach, with flights beginning May 23, 2010. Expect to see discounted flights to the beach!
The news broke only a moment ago, at a press release in Panama City Beach, where Bob Montgomery, Vice President of Properties for Southwest Airlines, made the announcement official.
Special Introductory Offers include $69 one way flights to and from Baltimore, Nashville, and Houston, with one way flights to and from Orlando at $49 each! (you must purchase by Dec 18, for travel next year.)

“In addition to the eight daily nonstop flights, Southwest Airlines will offer direct or connecting service to more than 58 destinations from Panama City Beach, including Dallas and Chicago. Southwest Airlines will operate from Gate 3 at the new Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport with approximately 30-35 Employees who will call the region home.
