Designer Mychael Knight to Show at South Walton Fashion Week

Santa Rosa Beach, FL – (July 23, 2014) South Walton Fashion Week proudly announces Mychael Knight to feature his Fall/Winter 2014 Collection at this second annual, multi-day event along Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast. South Walton Fashion Week is produced by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County in conjunction with Monark Events and presented by Visit South Walton.
Knight, a renowned designer, was an integral part of the inaugural South Walton Fashion Week in 2013 and comes back to SWFW this year with an exclusive runway show and as a distinguished judge for the Emerging Designer competition.
Emerging Designers who apply and are selected as finalists, will showcase their designs on the Emerging Designer Runway with a winner being chosen by a fashion panel of distinguished judges including Knight. Applications will be accepted now through September 5th at swfw.org.
Since his successful run on season 3 of the hit Bravo show “Project Runway”, Knight has been diligently claiming his place in the fashion industry. In addition to being sought after for his design aesthetic and fashion styling from celebrities such as Khloe Kardashian, Jagged Edge, 112, Jennifer Hudson, Tarji P. Henson, and Toni Braxton, his designs have been displayed in a variety of print publications including The Atlantan, Elle, Essence, Marie Claire, Ebony, Black Enterprise YRB, and The New York Times. His creative direction and design talent has been beseeched from such corporations as Starbucks, Louis Glick, Nike, and Coca-Cola.
