Vision Airlines Bringing More Direct Flights to the Beach
Great news coming in a couple of days ago for people wanting easier ways to get to the beaches in South Walton. I believe the official press release will come out later today, but Vision Airlines is announcing 18 NEW destinations going to and from the Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS). ALL flights are UNDER $99 each way. If you book before Jan 23, tickets for these flights are very inexpensive, $49 one way. Vision Airlines recently had flights from VPS (Ft Walton Beach, FL) to Miami or Niagra Falls, NY for as little as $79 one way and companions fly for FREE! The new airport in Panama City Beach, FL has brought competition to the market place and travelers are reaping the rewards. You will soon be able to fly into VPS from Asheville, NC; Atlanta, GA; Baton Rouge, LA; Birmingham, AL; Chattanooga, TN; Columbia, SC; Ft Lauderdale, FL; Ft Meyers, FL; Greenville, SC; Gulfport, MS; Houston, TX; Huntsville, AL; Knoxville, TN; Little Rock, AR; Louisville, KY; Macon, GA; Miami, FL; Niagra Falls, NY; Orlando, FL; Savannah, GA; Shreveport, LA; and St Petersburg, FL.
You will also note that Orlando and Houston discounted direct flights are available on Southwest Airlines out of Panama City Beach, FL, which should help reduce fares even more.
